Canwest Propane is a wholly owned Affiliate of Gibson Energy, which is a diversified Canadian midstream service provider to the oil and gas industry. In addition to Canwest Propane, Gibson’s portfolio of services include marketing of crude oil, natural gas, asphalt, frac fluid and NGL’s; crude oil transmission through our pipelines and terminals, truck transportation of energy related commodities; asphalt refining; and NGL fractionation and marketing.
Gibson’s liquid petroleum gas (LPG) synergies include a fractionation facility in Hardisty, Alberta and a NGL marketing group that provide security of supply and flexibility in services for our customers. The Gibson truck transportation fleet has more than 100 LPG units that move LPG’s across Western Canada for Canwest and other companies. Link Petroleum provides wholesale marketing services to companies in Western Canada and the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
